Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Oman: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in Oman showed varied performance across different metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 5K in April before decreasing to approximately 2.8K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also followed a similar trend, starting at 9.4K and ending with around 8.9K.

TaxiF Driver - Be the Captain! experienced a decline in downloads from 5.5K at the beginning of the quarter to about 2.5K by the end. However, its active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 6K to 8K throughout the quarter.

Oman Taxi: Otaxi maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 2K weekly. The app's active users saw a slight decline, starting above 31K and ending at 30K.

Uber - Request a ride had a modest increase in downloads, from 800 at the start to 1.5K by the end of June. Its active user numbers remained steady, hovering around 20K throughout the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 600 and reaching 1.3K. Active users also increased, starting at 5.1K and reaching 5.6K.
